Anne and Michael Ingram are acting in a personal capacity as intermediaries for booking hotel accommodation. They are not acting as a travel agent. On our behalf, they have negotiated a package price for the week, have reserved a number of rooms at the hotel and will be arranging transfer from Geneva & if required Chambery to La Plagne. Deposits to secure the reservations have been funded by me - Matthew Bultitude. Doing it this way is much simpler for us than having to book the hotel and transfers individually. Hence it is important that attendees understand their part of the arrangement. We have gone for a more competitively priced trip this year – whilst trying to maintain all the benefits that a 4* hotel offers Please read the 'Big print" below.
1. Unlike previous years this trip is being organised for us with the help of Anne & Michael Ingram without ATOL/ABTA cover. This means that we all need to ensure we have our own travel insurance and (for skiing) liability/health insurance. Flights are to be purchased individually and the accommodation will be organised at the Arcaucaria hotel, through Anne/Michael who will facilitate this for us.
2. A deposit of £450 for every person travelling must be paid for this trip when the booking is made. We are only bound by the booking when it is confirmed in writing with booking form. Deposits are non-refundable (but if you can find someone to take your place this is fine)
3. Those booking agree that they will have adequate travel insurance to cover them for any eventualities,
4 A booking within 13 weeks of departure will only be accepted when paid in full.
5. We are under no obligation to fulfil your booking until you have paid us in full
6. Full payment is due 13 weeks before departure, on 18th October 2025 If we have not received full payment by then we are liberty to consider your booking cancelled and offer your place to someone else.
7. If you cancel then you must do so in writing. Depending on the date we are notified the following charges will be made (reflecting the charges from the hotel)
· Once booked - Lose deposit (can be used if you/we find another person to take it)
· 42 to 83 days - You pay 50% of total costs
· 28 to 41 days - 60%
· 8 to 27 - 90%
· Day of departure to 7 days - 100%
8. If, for some reason we have to make any major changes to arrangements, such as lower grade accommodation you can -
· Accept the alternatives
· Cancel and obtain a full refund provided you notify us within 7 days (this would not include any flight costs incurred which would need to be reclaimed by your insurance company)
9. Please note that the provisions of clause 8 will not apply in the event of a major change beyond our reasonable control such as Act of God, explosion, flood, Covid, fire or accident, war, terrorism or any threat thereof insurrection civil disturbance. Any government or local authority restrictions or regulations, strikes or other industrial actions (or threat thereof). Departure delays (to/from the destination) caused by technical problems to transport, strikes, industrial actions, schedule changes by airlines. Weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. Any refunds we received would automatically go back to you
